Whilst February is a short month the month can feel quite long as we look for signs of early
spring, hoping to catch indications of new life, and as we begin the journey of Lent on
Wednesday (Ash Wednesday) towards Easter we are reminded this is spiritually a time for
quiet reflection, preparation and anticipation.

God is always with us offering light and hope. May we take this time to renew our
commitments and represent the selfless unconditional love of Jesus Christ with all whom we
meet and make this time a truly joyous celebration of the love that binds us together in Jesus’
name.
