MESSAGE FROM OUR MINISTER DEBBIE

Dear Friends

The Season of Lent is the 40 days (excluding Sundays) that lead up to
Easter Sunday and we are reminded what Jesus gave us out of love at
this time. Lent is a time for prayer, inner reflection and sometimes a
habit of giving up something or taking on a pattern of kind actions.
The season is also a real opportunity for us to set aside time to see
where we are in our relationship with God and to open ourselves to
mystery and transformation. In John’s Gospel Jesus says he is the
vine and we are the branches. (John 15:5-8) We are effective in our
discipleship when we are rooted in Jesus Christ and live out his
teachings and values in loving words and actions.
