MESSAGE FROM OUR MINISTER DEBBIE

Dear Friends

We are now well into our Lenten journey walking with Jesus towards Jerusalem. Lent is a
walk we take together as a community of faith, following Jesus Christ towards the Cross and
beyond it to resurrection. This season is a time for renewing our commitment to following
Christ, letting go and letting Christ build our lives.

Easter speaks of transformation, of hope and renewal. Through the resurrection we are
reminded that even in the face of hardship new beginnings are possible. The story of Christ’s
resurrection is a story of triumph over death, a testament to the lasting power of love, and a
sign of hope for a world often covered in darkness. At Easter we do not just celebrate the
resurrection we actively embody its message in our lives and we look to be beacons of hope
in our communities modelling Jesus in loving service. In love and compassion we also try to
work towards a world where justice and peace exist.

Being known, loved and valued is important to our sense of belonging and for Christians that
is belonging in the body of Christ. May this Easter season inspire us to renew our
commitment to serve God by embracing love and compassion and mirroring the message of
our Risen Lord Jesus Christ in service to others. May we live for Christ and make Christ
known bringing peace, joy and love this Easter season and beyond. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
