MESSAGE FROM OUR MINISTER DEBBIE
Friends
A group of us spent some time at the beginning of April at the Christian Festival Spring
Harvest 2026 in Butlins Minehead. This year’s theme was ‘No Greater Life’ which focused
on having a whole-hearted love for God and people, and was based on the Great
Commandment. The event looked at how we can live a fully alive transformative life
through worship, community and mission. Asking the question, what does it look like to
love God fully drawing on Mark’s Gospel and Deuteronomy.
The Spring Harvest events offer spiritual renewal and activities for all ages and have been
described as a vibrant community atmosphere with powerful worship and inspiring teaching,
and this is true. Our group had a wonderful time and felt truly inspired and we were blessed
with great teaching from Martin Young, Phil Knox, Phillippa Hanna, Rachel Hughes, Andrew
Ollerton, Jeff Lucas and Youth Preaching Prize Winner 2026 Aniah to name some of them.
One of the evenings we were entertained by the superb group West End Has Faith and on
another evening the extremely funny Christian comedian and author Paul Kerensa.
Next year Spring Harvest 2027 is at Minehead on the 29 th March-2 nd April and on the 5 th- 9 th
April at Skegness. The theme is ‘No Greater Adventure.’ Spring Harvest is a great place to
take family and friends. There are a wide range of chalet types to choose from and you can
go self-catering or half-board. There are a number of restaurants, a few coffee shops, a
swimming pool, local shops, lots of Christian stalls and information stands and much more.
There is plenty to do and if you decided to go you will not be disappointed.
God bless love Debbie
