MESSAGE FROM OUR MINISTER DEBBIE

Dear Friends

In the New Testament of the Bible we read that Jesus often spent time with people outdoors.   Jesus met people by the lakeside, in the market place, on dusty roads and at special events and celebrations like the wedding feast at Cana.    Wherever Jesus went he noticed people and found time to listen to them.  These meetings and encounters remind us that God’s presence is not limited to buildings or set times and places, rather it is knit into the everyday moments of our lives. 

However we spend our time during these summer months let us rejoice that God is with us and may we offer a smile, a listening ear and a helping hand to the people we will come across on our journeys.   (Psalm 27:1, 2 Corinthians 4:6)  Shining God’s warmth and light everywhere.
