MESSAGE FROM OUR MINISTER DEBBIE

Dear Friends
This Sunday (21 st ) is the lighting of our fourth Advent Candle before
the lighting of the Christ Candle on Christmas Day. The fourth
candle of ‘Love’ is lit and is sometimes referred to as the angels’
candle reminding us that within the Christmas story angels work as
messengers of love. They tell people ‘Good News’ (Luke 1:19) and
Jesus showed self-giving love in his ministry.

God’s unending love for us revealed in Jesus Christ is a gift that holds
the power to transform our hearts and lives. When we understand the
enormity of God’s love, wrapped in the gift of His Son, Jesus, it
changes the way we see Christmas. The gifts, decorations and
festivities are all lovely but the beauty of God’s unconditional love is
more joyous and worth celebrating. (1 John 4:9).

How might we reveal God’s love to other people this season?
