MESSAGE FROM OUR MINISTER DEBBIE

Dear Friends

As I said last week, in the season of Epiphany we think about journeys. We think about our
relationship with Jesus Christ, our prayer life, and the reading of scripture and our
relationships within our communities. This is essential to our faith and our identity as
Christians. We are also invited to reflect on the hope and guidance the Bible offers us as we
journey through life because God’s Word has the power to transform people and situations.

Epiphany is revelation and the definition is a sudden realisation of something, a revealing
scene or moment where you feel you finally understand or are beginning to understand
something as in the manifestation of Jesus Christ as a divine being. My hope, my prayer,
throughout this Season of Epiphany, is that as we journey through this year with new
opportunities we will see our Lord reveal so much more to us; and may our faith give us hope
that God’s steadfast love will triumph throughout the challenges. (Lamentations 3:21-23
