MESSAGE FROM OUR MINISTER DEBBIE

Dear Friends

There is so much disturbing news around the world that being salt and light in the world can be a real challenge but it is important and necessary that we are, especially when we look at all the injustice in the world.  As Christians we hope and we pray for peace, reconciliation and better times to come and as the salt of the earth we are called to be deeply involved in our communities and workplaces.  

(Matthew 5:13-16)

Wherever we are God calls us to be salt and light in our communities and to love our neighbour as ourselves.  We are to keep our salt tasty ensuring our light shines to reflect God’s nature to other people and that our light illuminates the world with God’s character which shows love, compassion  and grace to all people that can bring about transformation. 

So, as we journey through this week may we be intentional about flavouring the world with God’s grace and love.
