MESSAGE FROM OUR MINISTER DEBBIE

Dear Friends

In this season full of sporting events we have been looking at and thinking about team work.  The apostle Paul reminds us in 1 Thessalonians 5:11 “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just in fact as you are doing.”  Building each other up is the foundation of team work.  Paul reminds us that a healthy team functions like a body and every part has a purpose.   When we recognise and celebrate one another’s gifts we nurture an environment of value rather than competition and true team building takes place not just in the victories but the losses and challenges too.  We support one another.

Let us pledge to being a community that supports each other’s successes, bears one another’s burdens and goes forward in unity.
